Lucas Oil’s Sure Start Premium Starting Fluid is an ether-based formula designed to jump-start stubborn engines, particularly in cold weather conditions. This premium starting fluid boasts a 50% ether blend, which sets it apart from other leading national brands in terms of concentration and effectiveness. The high ether content is key to its ability to ignite engines swiftly in temperatures as low as -65°F, saving battery life and mitigating wear on the engine during ignition.

This product’s formulation includes an upper cylinder lubricant, which plays a critical role in protecting the engine during the starting process. Its versatility is notable, as it is suitable for a broad array of engines, ranging from those in passenger cars and diesel engines to lawn mowers, chainsaws, and outboard motors. It also meets the federal low sulfur content requirements, making it an environmentally responsible option for both diesel motor vehicles and non-road engines.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE

FOR DIESEL ENGINES WITH GLOW PLUGS OR PREHEAT MANIFOLDS:
Follow directions in owner’s manual or use as directed by the engine manufacturer.

FOR GASOLINE ENGINES:
1.) Do not flood engine before using.
2.) Spray with a short burst into carburetor or air intake. Do not overuse product.
3.) Start engine in normal manner. Do not spray while starting.
4.) If engine fails to start, repeat procedure for a maximum of three times.
