For the eighth consecutive year, Lucas Oil Center is participating in No-Shave November. This yearly event lets our crew grow out their facial hair for 30 days and is meant to raise awareness for men’s health and several forms of cancer. While our guys get to show off their burly beards, it also encourages everyone to donate what they would otherwise spend on hair grooming to causes associated with cancer.
At the beginning of the month, team members who had facial hair were asked to sacrifice their beloved beards, mustaches, and goatees for the sake of a good cause. To perform the ceremonial shaving, DeShay Johnson from Diverse Salon came in and gave our crew a clean cut to start the month.
As we get to the halfway point of No-Shave November, we wanted to share an update as to how our beards are coming along….
No-Shave November goes until November 30. We will be providing updates throughout the month on how crazy some of the facial hair gets. You can follow us on our Facebook and Instagram for more pictures including our final beard photos at the end of the month!
