Employees of the Month | September 2023


The Employee of the Month program aims to acknowledge employees who go above and beyond in their service and exhibit exceptional work, a positive attitude, and a supportive demeanor. Lucas Oil Center is proud to acknowledge the employees of the month from both our Eastside and Westside locations along with the Nitro Wash.

To be selected for this recognition, employees must meet standards in four key areas: Attitude and Commitment, People Skills, Work Performance, and Personal Traits. We felt that these people exemplify these qualities, making a positive impact on both our customers and their co-workers.


Lucas Oil Center East September 2023 Employee of the Month, Cole Labhart, Lube Technician

Cole Labhart is dedicated to the job, showing up 15 to 20 minutes before every shift. Always willing to stay over and help, he is constantly trying to be involved in more services so he can expand his knowledge. His genuine nature with customers helps him connect and be able to better recommend additional needed services. Cole also has a multi-year military background where at one point he was stationed overseas in South Korea. Many of the skills he’s acquired from this part of his life no doubt help him be an even better part of our team.


Nitro Wash September 2023 Employee of the Month, Deacon Wilke, Key Holder

Deacon Wilke is always on time, dependable, and eager to help customers and co-workers. He’s grown quite a lot in his position since first starting at the Nitro Wash back in high school. Now as a sophomore in college, Deacon has stepped up to the plate in a time of need and taken on more responsibility as a new Key Holder. Without the effort of team members like Deacon, we don’t know where we would be.


Lucas Oil Center West September 2023 Employee of the Month, DJ Peerman, Lube Technician

Dylan (DJ) Peerman is punctual, prepared, eager to learn and willing to help out whenever and wherever he’s needed. He’s learned a lot in the short time he has worked here and is constantly progressing. He communicates very well with customers, is confident and not afraid to recommend whatever services need to be performed. DJ also has a military background that provides him knowledge and experience that can help him perform on the job in ways other team members may not be able to.
