The purpose of the Employee of the Month Program is to recognize employees who have served in an exceptional manner by exemplifying outstanding service through his or her work and exhibiting a positive and supportive attitude. Lucas Oil Center is proud to honor this month’s employees of the month from our East side location, our West side location, and our Nitro Car Wash.
Employees who are chosen for this honor must meet certain criteria in four categories: Attitude and Commitment, People Skills, Work Performance, and Personal Traits.
Under people skills, we look at the following:
- Displays a helpful, cooperative, and positive attitude towards co-workers and superiors
- Consistently friendly and available to others
- Uses effective listening skills
- Has a team player attitude
- Voluntarily assists co-workers to complete important department projects
We felt that each one of these people exemplifies these qualities, making a positive impact on both our customers and their co-workers.
Lucas Oil Center East June 2022 Employee of the Month, Nate Swanson, Customer Service/Lube Technician.
Nate Swanson was nominated by his co-workers for June Employee of the Month for the East Side lube. Nate is described by his co-workers as extremely dedicated. Nate is one of the few employees that has been trained on almost every position at LOC. Nate can jump in at the Wash when he is needed, can cover the customer service desk, and is now a trained Lube Tech.
Nate is willing to step in wherever he is needed with a smile on his face. Nate is always in a positive mood, encouraging his teammates and being a leader to the younger crowd. Nate is a devoted Dad and son, always putting family first while remaining loyal to his work. Keep it up Nate, you never truly realize who you are inspiring with your big heart! We are so blessed to have Nate!
Nitro Car Wash East June 2022 Employee of the Month, Jordan Fulks, Wash Technician.
Jordan Fulks was nominated by his co-workers for June Employee of the Month for the car wash. Jordy’s co-workers describe him as a cool guy to work with, always smiling, and can always be counted on to report on time to his shifts. Jordy is always attentive to the customers and their needs. He is a great sales person while showing true care to each vehicle. Jordy is very responsible and has worked very hard over the past 2 years to earn a key holder position.
Jordy is always showing up to work looking his best and expecting everyone else to do the same. We are so proud of him and his efforts in college and although we are going to miss him when he returns to school, we will be cheering him on. Great job, Jordy!
