The purpose of the Employee of the Month Program is to recognize employees who have served in an exceptional manner by exemplifying outstanding service through his or her work and exhibiting a positive and supportive attitude. Lucas Oil Center is proud to honor this month’s employees of the month from our East side location, our West side location, and our Nitro Car Wash.
Employees who are chosen for this honor must meet certain criteria in four categories: Attitude and Commitment, People Skills, Work Performance, and Personal Traits.
Under personal traits, we look at the following:
- Maintains an appropriate and neat personal appearance and professional dress
- Professional demeanor
- Conscientious, honest, hard-working
- Integrity, on and off the job
We felt that each one of these people exemplifies these qualities, making a positive impact on both our customers and their co-workers.
Lucas Oil Center East April 2022 Employee of the Month, Dave Bateman, Senior Lead Lube Technician.
Dave’s co-workers describe him as the most patient guy ever! He is always happy and willing to help out in anyway possible. Dave always has a positive attitude and doesn’t let life’s difficult times effect his performance at work. Dave will stop whatever he is doing to help and answer questions. Dave is always so detailed and clear when speaking with customers, his excellent customer service is a dynamite quality!

Lucas Oil Center West April 2022 Employee of the Month, Andrew Dunsworth, Assistant Manager.
Andrew is a 2-time 2022 Employee of the Month for West side! Andrew has been described as going above and beyond every day! He is always trying to learn more and improve his knowledge. Andrew is very trustworthy and reliable. Recently, Andrew was promoted to Assistant Manager at the West Side service center.
Keep up the hard work, Andrew!
Nitro Car Wash East April 2022 Employee of the Month, Ashley Shofner, Lead Wash Technician.
Ashley’s co-workers described her as devoted and passionate. She has excellent customer service and is always willing to help out in any way she can. Everyone loves to work with Ashley because she is always smiling and in a good mood. She is our “go-to” girl.
